The Things Kids Say
Last weekend, Doug was offered tickets to the Air Force Football game. They were box seats for all four of us. We were really excited to have box seats, especially because the weather was ugly. Cold and snow flurries. So, on the way there, we tell the kids we have "box" seats. Carly says, "Are they gonna cut holes in the box so we can see out?" It was great, and quite a legitimate question! She was happy to find out the "box" was made out of glass. It did turn out to be a fun game to watch. Air Force won and we had free food and drink!

Carly's 5th Birthday
Carly's 5th Birthday was November 5. Here she is wrapped up in one of her Birthday presents. She had a great day. She took treats to preschool, had flowers delivered, went out to eat and opened presents! She took some friends to Chuck E Cheese on Sunday. Her Birthday seemed to last the entire week.
Here she is with some friends. I think they all had a great time!

Halloween Trick
We have been hit hard by a storm that began Tuesday night and did not end until early Friday morning. We had at least 18 inches of snow and a brutal wind. Thankfully Friday was sunny!
Here is Trent with his friend Luke. They were eager to sled on Friday. School was closed for 3 days! We were beginning to get a little stir crazy!
We still have a bit of shoveling to do!

Windows Live Personalized Experience
Carly loves gymnastics class! Here she is playing in the foam pit. She asks nearly every day if it is a gymnastics day. They do a great job of wearing them out!

Windows Live Personalized Experience
Trent is holding up his card from the Jog-a-thon he participated in on Friday. It was a fundraiser for the school and he earned money for every lap he ran. He ran 17 laps which equated to about 2 miles! They ran for 30 minutes. Carly got in on the action and ran 8 laps which was about 1 mile! All the kids did great and it was nice that the kids exercised to earn money for the school instead of selling cookies and treats (much better for all our waistlines)! He is still collecting donations if you wish to help out.
